This page explains the information used by Barakallah by Fairuz and the external connections involved in its functions.
Information on your device
Preferences, selected coordinates, bookmarks, reading position, Tasbih count and Ramadan records are stored by the app on your device. The app has no account registration or analytics SDK configured. You can change preferences and records in the app. Android backups may depend on your device and account settings.
Connections to external services
When you ask the app to identify a city, latitude and longitude are sent to Nominatim/OpenStreetMap. Optional Quran source-version checks contact QuranEnc and Tanzil. Playing an audio URL you provide connects to that provider. Those services may receive your IP address and technical request information under their own privacy practices. The website hosting provider may process technical access information to deliver and protect this website.
Permissions and offline use
Device location is optional: coordinates can be entered manually. Prayer notifications and exact alarms require Android permissions. Included Quran texts, search and bookmarks work offline; requests to external services need internet. Reading an included text does not require an account.
Financial support
The support button opens Buy Me a Coffee outside the app. That platform processes contributions under its own terms and privacy practices. The app does not handle card details and contributions do not change the features available to you.
